Eve Vickers (b.2000) is a composer of new music, currently based in England.
Her work spans between instrumental and electroacoustic fields. She has a strong interest in the intricacies of microscopic, 'broken-down' sound; as well as the spaces they occupy in perception between single units and collective masses. She uses a wide range of techniques to explore these themes, from instrumental techniques, to live signal processing, to electronic synthesis, endeavoring to find beauty in things that are small and broken. Her pieces have been performed by ensembles such as the BBC Philharmonic and Riot Ensemble.
Eve graduated from the RNCM's Undergraduate course in 2022, receiving the Patricia Cunliffe prize. She is set to graduate from the RNCM's Postgraduate course in Composition in 2024. She has studied under composers such as Steven Daverson, Sam Salem, and Larry Goves.
